Book on Govind Pansare

In his 68-page book, a brief biography titled “Govind Pansare Navacha Vidhyapeet” (Govind Pansare – a University) published by Bharatiya Mudranalaya, Kolhapur, Mr. Dhume has detailed the chequered journey of Pansare, from his early student life to being influenced by leftists and socialists and taking up social activism and building a strong movement on various issues and opposing fundamentalist extremism.
The author has tried to evaluate Pansare’s works and see in him a university, a school of modern and progressive thought processes. The book is scheduled for release at a function organised by Patrakar Vikas Academy, Belagavi, at the conference hall of Hotel Milan in the city on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.
